A Company Overview, History, and Business Strategy of Samsung Electronics Essay

It has become appallingly obvious that our technology has exceeded our humanity (Einstein 4). Nowadays, people cannot simply live without technology. Our world has become so loyal and dependable on it, that the people would not make a day without it. Established in 1969, Samsung Electronics first began with a black-and-white television that sold in the 1970s. Samsung gradually developed a distinct line between the electronics they first sold domestically, and the products they soon began exporting. In less than ten years later, Samsung was shipping, manufacturing, and selling a wide range of appliances and electronic products internationally (Funding Universe 2). The company sells televisions, audio equipment, home appliances, factory automation products, and their leading market shareholder cellphones. The huge success in revenues has helped Samsung declare that they believe to be one of the top five brands in the world by 2020 (Samsung Strategies 2, 3). Even though many people consider Samsung is a tremendous brand, they do not recognize the fact that Samsung products are promoted in a misleading way and the corporation does not ensure a healthy environment for its workers.First off, Samsung uses many propaganda techniques and claims that attract their consumers to buy their products. One of the most popular propaganda techniques that Samsung uses is the transfer method. Samsungs advertisements display many cheerful families andor individuals playing with their new phones and having an amazing time. The advertisements use the transfer technique to show that everyone who buys their product will be joyous. Although I agree that Samsung products may be interesting and satisfying to the public, I cannot accept the overall conclusion that it will make everybody enjoy their life to the fullest. These advertisements provide scenes of people who do not need anything in life as long as they have that smartphone.
