A Company Overview, Product Analysis, and Marketing Strategy for Nike Essay

Our group chose Nike running shoes as our product. Nike running shoes are on the top of the market today and have mostly been on top in the past. Nikes company is worth 65 million dollars more than their closest competitor. Our product represents a consumers interpretation of all of the information they have been exposed to. As a result, Nike was the second ranked apparel company in 2014 by making 2.7 billion dollars and are valued at 65.9 billion dollars.Our newest design combines comfort, style, and spirit to bring the Nike S.S. Lope. This shoe will be sold at a price of ninety-four dollars and ninety-five cents. If this shoe has big success, Nike may provide other schools with their own custom pair of Nike Spirit Shoes.Our product represents all of the four Ps of marketing. Product is plain and simple the Nike S.S. Price will be a total of ninety-four dollars and ninety-five cents. Promotion will be by word-of-mouth and an initial mass giveaway to athletes. Lastly, the place where the product will be sold will be online and on campus.Our company has continually taken steps towards green policies by reducing carbon emissions and eliminating waste. Nike has an advantage over many other companies who dont focus on health. Economically, Nike has had to launch a value chain to provide a wider range of choices for people in lower class when they took hits in the economy. Nike has also adapted to all changes in technology. They have increased online shopping and adapted to new consumer wants. Also Nike holds a lot of competition with similar brands and Nike must constantly change and adapt to compete. Nike always has to fight labor laws from other countries and also the United States.Our groups social responsibility issue is the struggle of obesity in America.
