The Practical Applications of the System Development Life Cycle Essay

SDLC, which is an acronym for System Development Life Cycle, is a process that is generally applied to projects or goals in order to start, construct, and end with ideal results. The SDLC contains several steps to approach an assignment in a strategic manner. Evaluation and Suggested Improvement, Design and Development, and Application and Re-evaluation. This tactic requires a great bit of patience, communication, and analysis throughout the procedure to ensure that the best results are achieved. A brief example for applying the SDLC is this scenario A Software industry wants to update their current programs to sustain higher capacity in functioning for their clients. The programs the company is producing needs particular improvements.The first step is Evaluation. The employees will then identify areas of concern of the program being produced. This is a time for the team to identify any issues related to the program that are deemed outdated, unnecessary, or undesirable. After the problematic areas have been located, the team will then begin to form suggestions and ideas for advancements. At this point, critical thinking is at an all-time high. Ideas and suggestions for new programs should be compatible, within a budget, and be able to perform all desirable functions effectively with little to no undesirable outcomes. The team will sort through all ideals and begin to piece together the ones that will become a part of the new and improved program.Before the program is created, the layout of the program must be designed. Designing includes covering the aspects of writing the program, what is included within this program, adding vital components, communications, maintaining security and durability. Designing is responsible for the architecture of the creation. Development is the final step of the creation phase.
