Quaker Steak and Lube opened in 1974, in the small town of Sharon,Pennsylvania. George Jig'' Warren and Gary Moe'' Meszaros foundedthe first Quaker Steak and Lube. They wanted to preserve the old gasstations and muscle cars culture of the 1970's. The idea of therestaurant originated as a cook your own steak'' restaurant. It hasdeveloped into a nationally know restaurant that serves amazing wings.On the other hand Buffalo Wild Wings originated in Columbus, Ohio in1982. It was intended to be a buffalo chicken wing specific restaurant.James Disbrow form Buffalo, New York, had when to visit his friend ScottLowery in Columbus. Disbrow had a taste for some authentic Buffalowings. They went searching around Columbus and did not find any place ofinterest. They had the idea of opening the very first Buffalo Wild Wingsrestaurant. A restaurant dedicated to serving the best wings beer and aplace to watch sports. This lead to Buffalo Wild Wings being one of thebest wing franchises today. Both of the franchises have shifted therefocus on to the wings they serve. The restaurants have a variety ofsauces and style of wings.
