An Analysis of Proper Communication Being one of the Vital Roles of a Successful Business Essay

Through this semesters class of Organizational Behavior, much has been taught to make my understanding of business more fluent. There are many aspects to a business that keep it in good working order. Vital roles of a successful business include communication, group work, good decision making, proper behavior as a leader and a follower, good resolution skills, overcoming barriers and so on. We all are working towards a common goal in each of our job titles. Properly communicating necessary information is important in the success of a business, as well as knowing how to determine a good decision or bad decision. All of the following responses a have come from this semesters wealth of knowledge in text and in lecture. Overcoming barriers to communication is not always an easy task. There may be just a small bump in the road or it may be something more. A small conflict with a coworker whos from another country and has a large accent, or a large problem with a manager of the opposite sex who you dont think is treating you fairly. There are so many different scenarios for communication barriers you may face in your lifetime and the best thing you can do about it is to face it head on and work out the problems and move on. I have found many helpful ways to overcome all barriers. In the case of physical communication barriers, I find the most helpful idea being one that will include you speaking to higher up management if you ever feel you are being treated unfairly compared to other menwomen in your workplace. Allowing that sort of sexist or discriminating behavior happen to you only allows more room for this person to do this against others as well believing they will not be caught up to, the more the behavior continues.
