An Analysis of the Types of Restaurant Essay

Have you ever been driving down the road, and noticed a billboard for a restaurant and thought to yourself Wow, I have to eat there! A problem that often occurs is the type of atmosphere people walk into without realizing it. There are many different types of restaurants all around the world, some considered fancy, some are considered family restaurants, some are plain fast food restaurants. While every restaurant has a different dress code, a different price range, different menu styles, and offer different foods, they are all places to get food. The first type of restaurant to be discussed is considered a fancy or elegant restaurant. When dining at a fancy restaurant men are required to be dressed in a suit and tie, while women should be wearing their best and most elegant dress. Once you have been seated the waiter or waitress will bring out the menu and that when most people get a big surprise. At an elegant or fancy restaurant most of the time the prices are not on the menu, and if thats the case its probably better that you dont find out. Along with an exquisite choice of main courses, not hamburgers and cheeseburgers, most offer a large variety of different wine. Although it is nice to dine at a fancy restaurant it can sometimes be confusing. Silverware is neatly placed around the table but, the challenge is figuring out which one to use first. Normally at an up-scale restaurant they have a salad fork, a regular fork, a soup spoon, a regular spoon, and a knife. Another type of restaurant is a family restaurant. At this type of setting the customer usually wears nice, but not the very best they own, outfits. Men wear slacks, and women usually wear a casual nice dress or skirt. When ordering at a family restaurant the prices on the menu are affordable, not like those at a fancy restaurant. Family restaurants...
