The first thing is to gather all materials needed. Check your cupboard for a vanilla cake mix, to get the best rise use Betty Crocker. However, an off brand will do the job just fine. The following items are a list of material and ingredients you will need an 8X10 cake pan, a large and a small bowl, a spoon, a knife, a butter knife, measuring cups, a blender, eggs, vegetable oil, one pack of fresh strawberries, strawberry glaze, and light pink icing. For the icing I suggest strawberry icing by Betty Crocker. After gathering all ingredients place them one the counter. Now that all the ingredients are out, set the oven for 350 degrees. Now take the 8X10 cake pan and put teaspoon of vegetable oil in the pan. Make sure to get oil on all of the pans sides. Also, while the oven starts heating up take the large bowl, open the cake mix and pour it into the bowl. Next add cup of oil and cup of water. With a blender mix the powdery cake mix and watery substances together thoroughly. Finally, be sure to add two eggs and beat into the batter with a spoon, so the batter does not become runny. Last pour the batter into a greased 8X10 cake pan. Be sure to smooth the cake batter in the pan so it is evenly spread out. Let the cake bake for approximately 25 to 30 minutes.
