The Reasons Why School Uniforms Should Not Be Abolished in High Schools Essay

High school student are mostly teenager. When I was in high school I did studied in the school where uniform were mandatory and also studied in the school where uniform were not required. I know how hard it is when there is no uniform requirement. According to my personal experience, I thing uniform should be required in high school. One of the biggest reason school uniforms should not be abolished because it reduces the difference between rich and the poor students. A rich student will put on the their branded cloths to show off their wealth while the students from average-income family might fill inferior, as they could not get a chance to experience the luxury. If every student will were uniform, no one will be able to tell who is rich and who is poor. This will cause student not to bully others because of their cloths. In addition, school uniforms make all students equal to each other, therefor student will make friends with each other not by wealth but through personality.The second reason high school should adopt uniform is because uniforms make the student to concentrate on their studies by reducing the distraction and develop discipline. If girls will not were provocative clothes to school, boys in the school will be less distracted. Uniform can help in avoiding random attraction and its effects. Having uniform for school makes it easier for teacher to identify students and catch the escaped students. The use of uniform develops a sense of belonging to the school and also improves the discipline followed in school.Opponents argue that uniform cost more and they violates their freedom of expression. However, that is not true uniforms cost cheaper than casual clothing shopping. According to Statistic, the average annual cost of uniforms in America is only 249.
