An Introduction to the Creative Essay on the Topic of Home Food Essay

The thought of gravy to Dorothy Allison meant safety and security and everything that had to do with, home to her that gravy her mom made every night was something that closed the day no matter how hard it had been and no matter what had happened. To people its hard to say what means home to you food wise it could be the gravy your mom made or that special cake you got on your birthday, to everyone home is something different but it is also something that is the same. Home is the place you go to feel safe and happy and everyone has a home whether they know it or not, like in the movie Zombieland, Tallahassee spent all his time looking for those little yellow cakes called Twinkies and even though the world had been taken over by flesh eating zombies he was home when he got that little cake.So no matter where you are if you get that one food that can make you feel all warm and fuzzy on the inside like nothing can happen in that moment then you are home and that is something that you would want to share with others that you care for like Allison did with her son although it took her a while to figure out what was a home that she could share that would mean home to the both of them.
